SHORT METAL FIBRES USING SELF-EXCITED VIBRATION
This method uses a metal round bar as a raw material, and uses an elastic cutting tool to cut short fiber directly from the metal round bar while self-oscillating the cutting blade.
Unlike metal wire made by wire drawing and rolling, short metal fiber made by this method have a triangular columnar shape, so fit well when mixed with resin or refractory material, and have excellent bonding properties.
